Here is just a quick promo piece for Mars Needs Milk. I'm thinking I may tweak it a little bit more and offer it as a iPad background. If you're interested in how I made any of the textures or if you're looking to achieve a similar effect, let me know and I would be happy to share. Introducing the official logo for Mars Needs Milk. Should make for a pretty cool t-shirt and a possible reward for those that donate when I post the game on Kickstarter. This should give everyone a pretty good idea of what my game may be about... cows, ufo's. lol. This is my first comp of a simple ufo, but I'm planning on making several for players to choose from that will have different abilities. I'm racing to complete additional art so I can post some actual screenshots of the gameplay. Please let me know what you think in the comments below. Thanks! Well here is phase two of my cow character. She's in a ball because she will be traveling upward through a maze. I don't want to give too much away, but I'm hoping to build a gameplay structure that will allow me to have multiple levels with varying difficulty, in order to create a genuinely fun mobile experience. I already have a working prototype created in GameSalad, and I should be posting more artwork and possibly some gameplay here soon. Please let me know what you think with a quick comment. Finally vectored out one of the characters for my upcoming game for iPhone. After growing up on a dairy farm, the last thing I personally wanted to see again was a cow lol. For this piece I wanted to use the clean and corporate web 2.0 look I've learned from working at Discover and apply it to my games. I think it's coming out pretty nicely. Please let me know what you think! Here is a joystick comp for Legend Slayers for the iPad. I needed something to post on my blog since it's been a little while, and I don't really get the opportunity to work on graphics very often anymore. I used several textures and some simple selection techniques to create most of the effects. If you think it looks cool now, you should see it moving in game. If you want to check out additional progress with Legend Slayers, you can visit flipsidenation.com.Chris Parkinsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18119026000924867048noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341559708917447107.post-24062875681882481552011-01-11T19:13:00.000-08:002011-01-11T19:13:13.470-08:00A Toast to Costume Cats!

A team member of mine just released two new apps for the Android market called "Costume Cats" and "Dress up Dogs". Because I can't support him with a download (I have an iPhone) I decided to do a little vector piece to commemorate him. The app will be coming soon to the Apple marketplace as well, so if you have either platform be sure to look it up and give it a try. You can also follow his blog (Geek Dad Apps) that provides some very good information for those that want to develop games for mobile devices.Chris Parkinsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18119026000924867048noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341559708917447107.post-13876740047843720562010-11-04T20:37:00.000-07:002010-11-04T20:44:01.546-07:00The new home of Casa di Pizza!
I just finished a website for Casa di Pizza. As you can see, the color scheme I had to work with was red and blue, and no, these presentations are not meant to be viewed with 3-D glasses. In the interim, I felt it would be a good idea to at least get one post up that doesn't have to do with work, and the only graphic I have at home since my hard drive failed. Enjoy!Chris Parkinsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18119026000924867048noreply@blogger.com0
